Amy Childs warns against plastic surgery after breast implant exploded and leaked

Amy Childs has become the latest celeb to speak out about the dangers of breast implants after going under the knife to have her botched boob job rectified.

The former Towie star has had three breast enlargements since she was 18 to get to a double E size, but was forced to remove them this spring after one of the implants exploded beneath the tissue.

Speaking to The Sun Online, Amy revealed that she had made the decision to take it out in May, as they were leaving her in ‘horrendous pain.’

‘I started getting pain in my left implant, and when I had it checked out it had ruptured,’ the 29-year-old said.

The mother-of-two continued: ‘I was so scared. It was so bad. I was in horrendous pain. I was terrified because implants can leak into your organs – it’s not good at all.’

Going in for reconstructive surgery to return to a C cup in June, things got more serious as Amy’s doctors revealed that her fears had come true and the implants had leaked into her breast tissue, causing a lump.

‘It was so dangerous,’ she admitted. ‘They said that if I’d waited a couple of years I would be in trouble.’

The star, who first went under the knife 11 years ago, wishes to warn other girls about making the same mistakes as her.

She added: ‘I feel a completely different person now and I’m happy I look more natural now I’m a full-time mum.

‘I’ve had three boob jobs now and I’m only 29. I just wish I had waited until after I’d had my children – and that’s what I’d say to everyone else – just really think about it first.’

Another star to recently remove her implants is Strictly Come Dancing and Drag Race star Michelle Visage, who went under the knife to reduce her famously big boobs after more than 20 years.

Fearing they were making her sick with increased speculation about breast implant illness, Michelle went back to her original chest size in February.

In her boobs’ memory, RuPaul’s Drag Race held an ‘In Mammorium’ segment for them at the season 11 finale.

Pierce Brosnan was a proud father as he was seen supporting his model son Paris at the Fashion For Relief show.

The two could be spotted on the event’s red carpet last night in their most fabulous get-up, as they both sported smart black suits.

While Pierce also paired his outfit with a black bow-tie and a large pair of brown-tinted sunglasses, his son opted to wear a pair of Converse trainers with his suit – and looked oh-so-cool doing so.

Who says you can’t wear Converse with a suit, anyway?

Paris was at the event to walk the runway in support of jewellery brand chrome Hearts, and he could later be seen strutting his stuff alongside fellow model Stella Maxwell.

As Pierce wore a smart bronze-coloured suit on the runway, Stella looked elegant and sophisticated as she donned a yellow tube top with matching skirt.

Paris has already made quite a name for himself in the modelling industry – at the age of 17, he walked his first runway show for Dolce & Gabbana in January 2018, and he has also graced the front cover of magazines such as GQ Korea and MMSCENE.

In June, the 18-year-old also completed his first short film about childhood hunger, travelling to Sri Lanka to find out more about the work being done by the UN World Food Programme (WFP) in the country.

Asides from Paris, Pierce is also father to three other sons, including 35-year-old Sean and 22-year-old Dylan, as well as 46-year-old Christopher, who was adopted while Pierce was married to Cassandra Harris, following the death of his father, Dermot, in 1986.

Dog The Bounty Hunter has been taken to hospital following what may be a heart attack, according to reports.

The TV personality, real name Duane Chapman, is currently resting following the ‘heart emergency’.

He was hospitalised over the weekend suffering from reported heart attack symptoms that may require surgery.

Reps for the bounty hunter have since confirmed to Metro.co.uk he’s resting up.

‘I can confirm Dog is under doctor’s care and is resting comfortably,’ they said this evening.

‘Thank you for all of your well wishes- keep ’em coming.’

Sources told TMZ ‘the reality TV star was taken to a hospital from his home in Colorado after feeling a pain in his chest.

Beth Chapman, left, and Duane Chapman
Beth passed away in June (Picture: Invision)

‘They’re also trying to figure out if he will need a corrective surgery.’

They went on to claim he suffered a ‘possible heart attack’ and is awaiting test results.

The emergency dash comes just months after Duane’s beloved wife Beth Chapman died following a battle with cancer, aged 51 in June.

Her passing has been incredibly hard on Dog, who revealed he’d lost a substantial amount of weight due to the stress of his loss.

Speaking about the toll Beth’s death took on him, the 66-year-old said he dropped ’17 pounds in two weeks’, having lost his appetite as he dealt with his grief.

‘I can’t eat. Two bites, I’m full,’ he said.

‘I got to force-feed myself like I force-fed her.’

He then opened up on not being able to watch Beth’s battle in the latest series of their TV show, Dog’s Most Wanted’s.

This season chronicles Beth’s battle with throat and lung cancer right up until the day before she died.

Duane, who was married to Beth for 13 years, previously told TMZ: ‘She shared her life and her passing with her fans.’

He went on: ‘Usually my production company goes over the first cut and then we make suggestions. This time I didn’t get involved.

‘It was a little too hard. I’m going to be watching it like everyone else for the first time.’

Duane admitted he starts to feel overwhelmed before the show has even begun. ‘I don’t know what to say until I see it. Even the commercials get to me,’ he admitted.

In another cruel blow,  that could have landed him in a lot of trouble if fraudsters got their way.

Netflix film Tall Girl divided opinions before it was even released, but now fans are getting riled about the main character’s height.

The new movie follows Jodi (Ava Michelle), a self-conscious 16-year-old girl who’s made to feel insecure about her height, and now fans believe that the character shouldn’t worry about standing at 6ft 1.

For reference, Jodi’s character is only three inches taller than model Gigi Hadid and half an inch taller than comedian Miranda Hart.

Meanwhile, Love Island’s Ovie Soko towers over her at 6ft 7in.

Taking their opinions to Twitter, viewers slammed: ‘They could have made the tall girl in the Netflix movie the most unrealistic height and they really chose six foot one i…’

Echoing a similar sentiment, another added: When I realize I’m the same height as the girl in the Tall Girl movie on Netflix. Sis, it ain’t that bad.’

Fans called out Jodi’s height and that the film made her look so much taller compared to her friends

Others thanked Netflix for shining a light on being tall

Netflix’s Unbelievable ending explained as streaming giant rules out season 2

**Warning, this story contains spoilers for Unbelievable.**

Netflix crime drama Unbelievable dropped on Friday with many fans having binged the emotional series already.

The true story follows Marie Adler (Kaitlyn Dever) as she files a police report claiming she’s been sexually assaulted by an intruder in her home, but the investigating detectives, as well as the people closest to her, come to doubt the truth of her story.

Meanwhile, hundreds of miles away, detectives Grace Rasmussen (Toni Collette) and Karen Duvall (Merritt Wever) meet while investigating an eerily similar pair of intruder rapes and partner to catch a potential serial rapist.

But what’s up with the ending? We’ve got an explainer to iron out any confusion over what happened.

Unbelievable (Picture: Netflix)
Unbelievable is based on a true story (Picture: Netflix)

In the penultimate episode of Unbelievable, Detective Grace and Detective Karen realised that Marie was in fact a victim of their suspect, Chris McCarthy (Blake Ellis).

The duo tracked down who they thought was McCarthy, but ended up discovering they had his brother instead and so brought him in to take his fingerprints.

They then proceeded to search the sibling’s house whom he shared with McCarthy and unconvered a number of the rapist’s ‘trophies’ that he’d gathered from each of his victim’s houses.

Detective Grace and Detective Karen help solve the case (Picture: Netflix)

On top of that, Grace and Karen found a camera and a hard drive loaded with photographs of the people he’d attacked.

Through all of the evidence they’d come across, they soon were able to confirm that Marie had been telling the truth all along.

The last episode of the limited series follow’s McCarthy trail with it being revealed that he raped women across Washington State and Colorado for three years.

He left barely any evidence at each scene, leading Marie to believe herself that her ordeal had been made up.

Marie had been ordered to seek therapy to avoid a hefty fine of $5,000 (£4018) and had also been alienated by her old friends who believed she was a liar.

McCarthy is given a hefty sentence (Picture: Netflix)

While McCarthy was handed the maximum penalty of more than 327 years in prison, Marie was offered $150,000 (£120,489) in compensation in a private case against the state.

Marie takes the money but also demands an apology letter from original detective Parker (Eric Lange) whose doubts damaged her reputation.

After receiving a message from Parker, Marie leaves Washington to bury her heartwrenching past and to start afresh and the series concludes with her lounging on beach.

Before the credits roll, Marie rings Karen to thank her for trusting her and allowing her to move forward.

Sadly though there won’t be a second series of Unbelievable.

A Netflix rep broke the news to Women’s Health, telling them: ‘It’s a limited series and based on the true story, alas, we won’t have another season.’

Unbelievable is available to watch on Netflix.

Constance Wu hits back at constant race questions

Constance Wu has revealed that she struggles with feeling like she has to represent all Asian women in the media.

The 37-year-old actress was profiled in The New Yorker, where she spoke out about her experience as an Asian-American woman.

When asked how she feels about constantly having to address her race in interviewers, the actress quipped back: ‘When Tom Cruise is in an interview, people aren’t like, “What’s it like to be a white actor?”

She continued: ‘My answers coincide with Asian-American activism, but that’s because those are the questions I’m being asked.

‘It doesn’t mean that I don’t believe in it and that I’m not a proponent of it. But is it my reason for being alive? No.’

The star, who rose to fame on sitcom Fresh Off The Boat, works alongside Jennifer Lopez in Hustlers, the hit heist comedy based on the real-life story of a group of strippers who swindle a group of Wall Street bankers out of their money.

But while rumours of a feud between the two stars on set have been circulating for a while, director Lorene Scafaria was keen to shut down any suggestion of conflict.

‘Honestly when I heard about it, it was such an insult to my set, because I don’t run things like that,’ she said.

‘I love to work with actors of all kinds who need different things, but everybody got along so great on this.’

She went on to say: ‘Jennifer and Constance really did have that chemistry and that relationship right away. It’s kind of hard to fake that, to be honest.’

We’re glad to hear it!

Liam Gallagher says there ‘will be war’ with Noel if they don’t reconcile before mother dies

Liam Gallagher has revealed there will be ‘war’ between him and his brother Noel if they don’t reconcile their differences before their mother dies.

While mama Gallagher isn’t going anywhere just yet, Liam knows the tension between the two must affect her and he wants to make it right for her sake.

Claiming he’s put in the effort in extending the olive branch to his former Oasis bandmate, the rocker said it’s up to Noel now to make the next move.

The siblings have been feuding since their legendary band broke up in 2009 after years of infighting culminated in a never-ending feud.

Still, Liam recently said he would ask Noel to come to his wedding when he marries Debbie Gwyther because ‘me mam told me to’.

Talking to Nihal Arthanayake on BBC Radio 5 Live this week, Liam said he was in a good place in his life and that the ‘only spanner in the works is you know who’.

Asked whether the feud with 52-year-old Noel upsets his mother, Peggy, 46-year-old Liam said: ‘There’s always one bad egg in the family, she’s still got me and she’s got our Paul, so it is what it is.’

So he’s calling Noel the bad egg? That’ll help fix the rift we suppose.

Liam continued: ‘I think he (Noel) is having a mid-life crisis.

‘It’s down to him and it’s down to the people around him – there’s only so many olive branches you can give someone without going, “I don’t think he really cares any more”, but that’s life, we’ll see how it ends up.’

The two have been warring since Oasis (Picture: PA Wire/Press Association Images)

Liam, who revealed he was engaged earlier this month, added: ‘I was saying the other day if, God forbid, something happens to my mam and we haven’t made up by then… then there will be war.

‘Because there have been so many opportunities on his behalf.’

Asked whether his song One Of Us is an olive branch to his estranged brother, Liam said: ‘Yeah course man, but that’s the last one, there’ll be no more.’

Guess we’ll have to wait and see.

Speaking about whether Noel will be invited to his nuptials in an interview with The Mirror Liam revealed: ‘Of course he will. My mam is like, “You’ve got to invite him”.

‘And I will. They’ll get a little envelope through the door.’

Although, the Don’t Look Back In Anger singer doesn’t have high hopes that Noel will RSVP ‘yes’, as he added: ‘They won’t come… but you never know – like I said before, they go to the opening of anything so as soon as they open it, it’ll be like, “Come on Noel, get your Dermot O’Leary outfit on, we’re going out”.’

Kendall Jenner is now officially blonde – and we simply cannot get enough of this new colour on her.

The model made a surprise appearance at the See Now, Buy Now Burberry fashion show as part of London Fashion Week where she showed off her newly-coloured locks, which was dyed by famous hair stylist Guido Palau.

Kendall also sported a Burberry-designed cream-coloured jacket, paired with a dark skirt with a fringed hemline.

The reality star also showed off her new hair on her Instagram story in a short video, as she could be seen listening to music in a car, before posting a photo of her and fellow models including Gigi and Bella Hadid backstage at the fashion show.

The 23-year-old is usually known for her signature dark hair, although this is not the first time she has been blonde.

Kendall previously went platinum blonde for Balmain’s AW16 show, at the request of French fashion designer Olivier Rousteing – so this is once again a welcome change from her.

It comes as Kendall returned to the catwalk, after sitting out New York Fashion Week for the spring and summer of 2020, admitting at the time she would ‘miss it’.

‘It’s a lot more mellow to just go, but I won’t lie, today I was missing it,’ she told Vogue magazine.

‘I was watching the girls and I was like: “damn, I kind of want to walk.”’

She later gushed about ‘loving’ New York and how ‘fun’ the fashion weeks that take place in the city are.

‘I love New York. All the fashion weeks, everyone gathers together for each one, but for this one specifically, it’s those people and then some,’ she added.

‘It’s so fun, and everybody is ready to have a good time.’

Shane Gillis has been axed from Saturday Night Live after racist and homophobic remarks resurfaced last week.

The comedian, who was only announced as a new addition to the cast one day before the scandal, came under fire as slurs in a now-deleted video from 2018 came to light.

A spokesperson for the show said on behalf of executive producer Lorne Michaels: ‘After talking with Shane Gillis, we have decided that he will not be joining SNL.

‘We want SNL to have a variety of voices and points of view within the show, and we hired Shane on the strength of his talent as comedian and his impressive audition for SNL.

‘We were not aware of his prior remarks that have surfaced over the past few days.’

They continued: ‘The language he used is offensive, hurtful and unacceptable. We are sorry that we did not see these clips earlier, and that our vetting process was not up to our standard.’

Shane's statement
Shane shared his statement on Twitter (Picture: Twitter)

Shane also addressed his dismissal and sharing a statement on Twitter, he said: ‘It feels ridiculous for comedians to be making serious public statements but here we are.

‘I’m a comedian who was funny enough to get on SNL. That can’t be taken away.

‘Of course I wanted an opportunity to prove myself at SNL, but I understand it would be too much of a distraction. I respect the decision they made.’

He added: ‘I’m honestly grateful for the opportunity. I was always a Mad TV guy anyway.”

In the episode of Matt and Shane’s Secret Podcast recorded on 26 September 2018, according to Variety, features the pair imitating Asian accents and mocking Asian people and Chinese food.

Other footage shows Shane making sexist, Islamophobic and homophobic comments, such as ‘f****t’.

Last week, Shane tweeted an apology for his remarks, saying: ‘I’m a comedian who pushes boundaries. I sometimes miss.

‘If you go through my 10 years of comedy, most of it bad, you’re going to find a lot of bad misses.’

Adele’s ex-husband Simon Konecki ‘agrees to joint custody’ of son Angelo following divorce

Adele’s ex-husband Simon Konecki has reportedly agreed to provide joint custody of their six-year-old son, Angelo, just days after the singer filed for divorce.

Simon, 46, also agreed that all financial issues surrounding the end of the couple’s marriage should be handled ‘in private mediation’, according to legal documents obtained by The Blast.

The publication also claims that the pair did not have a prenup, with the two set to split up their $180 million (£144 million) fortune.

Adele officially filed for divorce on 12 September after she and Simon previously announced their split back in April.

The singer continued the legal process the following day, when she asked for joint physical and legal custody of their son.

This comes after a source previously told People.com earlier in September that the pair intend to ‘stay friendly because of their child’.

‘They’re raising Angelo with love, warmth and real respect for each other,’ the insider added.

The pair chose to file their divorce in the US state of California because ‘they own property and [Simon] Konecki’s business has a base of operations’, the publication adds.

Metro.co.uk has contacted reps for Adele and Simon for comment.

This news comes after reports revealed Adele is also planning on releasing an ‘upbeat’ song about her split.

The Rolling In The Deep songstress has not released any music since the release of her third studio album 25 in 2015, but there have been several rumours that she’s planning on making a musical comeback before the end of the year.

‘The song is upbeat and is all Adele’s relationship with her ex-husband Simon,’ a source told The Sun.

‘But it’s optimistic, reflective of the good times and about learning to move on from them and make new memories by yourself.’

Paul Rudd faces off against himself in first trailer for Netflix’s Living With Yourself

We’re pretty convinced that there’s no such thing as too much Paul Rudd and now a new Netflix series, Living With Yourself, is going to put that theory to the test.

This eight-part dark comedy stars the 50-year-old actor as Miles Elliott, a normal, slightly miserable man whose relationship is falling apart. So far, so average.

Seeking some kind of change, Miles undergoes a revolutionary spa treatment which promises have you feeling like a whole new, happier person.

And it works; that is until new Miles is ambushed by his original self, realising that he has been cloned and has to keep this secret from his partner Kate.

‘Now there’s two me’s, but there’s one life,’ Paul says to his clone. ‘So, what do you suggest we do?’

This is definitely going to be our next binge-watch obsession.

While Paul is obvs the star of the show – who wouldn’t want to duplicate that ageless face? – we’re also super excited to see Irish comedian and British TV fave Aisling Bea starring alongside the Clueless star.

The creative team also looks pretty incredible, with Emmy winner Timothy Greenberg (who writes for The Daily Show) writing the script and Little Miss Sunshine’s Jonathan Dayton and Valerie Faris directing.

With its philosophical outlook, could Living With Yourself fill the hole that the end of The Good Place is going to leave in our lives? Stay tuned to find out!

Wendy Williams accuses Christie Brinkley of faking arm break to get daughter Sailor on Dancing with the Stars

Christie Brinkley is ‘totally shocked’ by Wendy Williams’ suggestion that she pretended to break her arm in order to have her daughter appear on Dancing with the Stars.

The former supermodel was set to appear on the upcoming series of the US’ version of Strictly, when she slipped in rehearsals, fracturing her limb and requiring surgery on her wrist and arm.

Sounds like someone’s accidentally taken a lesson from the Jamie Laing school of movement.

Fortunately for Christie, things have stayed in the family as she’s being replaced by her model daughter Sailor Brinkley Cook, 21.

‘Showbiz is all about getting a break, and Sailor and I both got one on Dancing with the Stars this season,’ Christie joked.

However, famously outspoken TV host Wendy was having absolutely none of it, saying that she believed the fall looked ‘fake as hell’ as her talk show returned on Monday morning.

Sailor and Christie Brinkley
Sailor will be replacing her mum on Dancing With The Stars (Picture: Getty)

‘Let me tell you what I see. I don’t see a wrist and a shoulder being fractured. But that was real cute,’ 55-year-old Wendy said, as she theorised that the entire fall was a scam to get Sailor onto the show.

‘Here’s my thought: Dancing with the Stars called Christie Brinkley and she said yes [but] after she got off the phone, that’s when she plotted her schedule.’

Showing that she’s put some serious thought into this, Wendy continued: ‘Sailor is beautiful, she’s a Sports Illustrated model, but that’s not as big as being a Kendall Jenner.

‘In order for girls to get this leg up, it takes more than beauty, you have to have [something more]. And that Dancing with the Stars has got a lot of eyeballs watching.

‘In my opinion, I think what Christie did was she signed up for Dancing with the Stars knowing that she’d put her daughter Sailor in there.’

Naturally refuting these claims, Christie was totally taken aback by the comments, bursting into tears when speaking to People.

‘I’m totally shocked, because I have been there for Wendy Williams. That is so weird,’ she said.

‘I have to give her a call… I’m really stunned.’

Sophie Turner is set to star as another fiery redhead fighting to survive in her first TV role since wrapping on Game of Thrones.

The British actress, who was only 15 when the HBO fantasy first aired in 2011, will appear in Survive, a new series for new short form mobile streaming service Quibi.

Based on the young adult novel by Alex Morel, the show follows Jane, a young woman who is forced to fend for herself when her plane crashes on a snow-topped mountain.

The only other survivor is Paul, played by The Walking Dead’s Corey Hawkins, with the pair of strangers embarking on a traumatic battle on top of the mountain as they hope to survive or be saved.

Sounds intense!

Speaking about the role, 23-year-old Sophie said: ‘I couldn’t be more honored to portray the role of Jane in Survive for Quibi.

‘She’s a complex character fighting against the odds to not only save her life, but to also find her own source of strength and courage.’

Not that we’re saying Sophie gets typecasted, but that does sound quite a lot like Sansa. Still, if she can get another Emmy nomination out of it, it’s definitely worth it…

The star continued: ‘I only hope this can impact anyone struggling with self-worth to understand they are braver than they know and to seek the support they need.’

Nice to know it’s not all doom and gloom.

Quibi may sound like a pretty wacky premise for a streaming platform, but the software, which is expected to launch in April 2020, has already signed up directors including Stephen Spielberg and Guillermo del Toro to work on the show.

How these filmmakers will work going from huge cinemas to tiny phones, we’re not quite sure, but we’re definitely intrigued to find out.

Celebrity MasterChef fans question lack of ‘celebrities’ in Tuesday’s episode

**Warning contains Celebrity MasterChef spoilers.**

Celebrity MasterChef fans have questioned the lack of ‘celebrities’ in Tuesday night’s episode of the BBC cooking series.

The latest round of the competition saw radio and TV presenter Rickie Haywood-Williams compete against American motown singer Martha Reeves, boxer oxer Dillian Whyte, actress Elizabeth Bourgine and Olympic long jumper Greg Rutherford MBE.

However, a number of fans expressed concern that they ‘did not know’ who any of these famous faces were and asked where the ‘real ones’ were hiding.

Awkward.

Fans took to Twitter to share their thoughts and disappointment with the episode’s lineup, with one writing: ‘CelebrityMasterchef… where’re the celebrities?’

‘Other than Greg Rutherford, I don’t know who these “celebrities” are #celebritymasterchef,’ another added, with a third blasting: ‘I mean I don’t work for advertising standards or anything but I’d have thought #CelebrityMasterchef should have celebrities?’

Martha Reeves
(Picture: BBC)

Others revealed they hadn’t heard of Martha Reeves at all, despite being referred to as ‘legendary’ on the show.

‘You can call this Motown singer ‘legendary’ as many times as you like, I’ve still never heard of her,’ the fan laughed.

In tonight’s episode, the celebrities were challenged with cooking their own burgers, before attempting to make their own dishes for customers in a public restaurant, as well as their own fish dishes.

And that was all before Ricky was eliminated, after failing to impress the judges Gregg Wallace and John Torode with his own salmon dish.

However, Ricky admitted that he wasn’t too bitter about leaving, as he said it was a ‘great experience’.

‘You know what, it’s been a great experience, I’ve had fun, it’s still a positive thing,’ he said.

It’s not the end of the road for the remaining four celebrities however, as they face the pressure even more in the next episode.

Celebrity MasterChef continues Wednesday at 8PM on BBC One.

Peaky Blinders spoilers: Furious Polly confronts Gina alongside Michael – has she discovered her secret?

Has Polly discovered Gina’s secrets? (Picture: BBC)

Things are about to seriously go down in the Peaky Blinders season 5 finale – and it looks like Polly (Helen McCrory) has discovered that Gina (Anya Taylor-Joy) has been keeping secrets.

The matriarch of the Shelby family is definitely not one to mess with and in front of son Michael (Finn Cole), Polly is seen facing off against the mysterious American that’s captured his heart.

Viewers already know that Gina is somehow involved with the evil Oswald Mosley (Sam Claflin), and by all indications it’s her that’s been feeding him information about the Birmingham gang, seeing as an unsuspecting Michael tells her everything.

We don’t know much about the socialite, and now we’re begging the question about how much of the stuff we know about her is even true.

First and foremost, is she even pregnant? It was this announcement that pushed Michael to tie the knot with her in the first place, and she was mighty shady about Ada joining her at the doctor’s appointment.

If she’s not, then it could’ve been a ruse to force Michael’s hand, and ever since she has been under his protection even when the family business got violent.

Is Michael about to have a serious wake-up call? (Picture: BBC)

Skirting on the outside of the gang, she’s been the perfect person to hide in plain sight to hear everything, and if Polly discovers she’s in league with Mosley then there’ll be hell to pay.

By the looks of it, whatever is discussed has not pleased Michael at all, and if he discovers his entire marriage is a sham, then it could be devastating for him.

But then again, he could be defending his wife (who remains as cold as sassy as ever as she leans back in her seat) from his hot-headed mother, but Polly’s instinct is rarely wrong.

Michael has become completely charmed by Gina (Picture: BBC)

Impulsively protective around the son that had been missing from her life for so long, she’s hardly going to let a blonde bimbo sweep in and ruin him…but stubbornness runs in the family and Michael might not give her any say before it’s too late.

In another new snap, Michael is seen brandishing a switchblade, which could only mean some blood is about to be shed as the drama reaches its peak.

Just what is Gina playing at?

Sunday’s episode wraps up Peaky Blinders for another season, and it looks as though one of the main characters could be killed off before the credits roll.

By all accounts, thanks to his lack of tact around his family and spoiled brat nature after losing the family cash in the stock market crash, Michael could very much be in the firing line.

Peaky Blinders continues Sunday at 9pm on BBC One.

Peaky Blinders finale spoilers: Oswald Mosley’s rally could spell disaster for the Shelby family

Oswald Mosley (Sam Claflin) looks unstoppable as he rallys the troops to start the British Union of Fascists on Peaky Blinders – and it could spell disaster for the Shelby family.

In first look pics of the final episode of season five sees Mosley’s smug face plastered over the walls of Birmingham, and at the rally teams of revellers and fascists are gathered in the helm of the far-right.

With the Billy Boys, led by Jimmy McCavern (Brian Gleeson), ready to pull rank at the rallys and act as security for the fascist leader, they all seem completely unaware of the trouble Tommy (Cillian Murphy) has planned for them.

Taking to the stand, we know that he has the power to grab the attention of a crowd – as was clearly shown in the chilling moments in the aftermath of the ballet last week.

He needs to be taken down in the Shelbys eyes and fast, and after he disrespected Lizzie (Natasha O’Keeffe), and potentially even killed Younger last week, Tommy has no time anymore to take him down from the inside.

Reverting to his old ways, he’s vowed to head back to some good, old fashioned violence.

Tommy is planning to assassinate Mosley – and with a sniper pal now free from an asylum ready to do just that for him, his plans have been put into action.

Arthur, Johnny Dogs (Packy Lee), Aberama Gold (Aidan Gillan) and the rest of the team in place, all they need to do is wait.

But Mosley has always been just that little bit ahead of our favourite razor-blade wielding gang, so surely he must be prepared for what the Birmingham gang have waiting for him.

We already know that Mosley doesn’t die until 1980 in the south of France, and we’re only in 1929 in the canon of the series – meaning the snivelling weasel has sixty glorious years of life to go.

So unless they’re about to alter history to suit the plot, there’s a very heavy chance that Mosley will survive the planned attack.

But if he does survive, then every single one of the Peakys are in serious trouble, as this man is clearly willing to do anything to get into the power he believes is his birth right.

Can one of the Peakys be about to die as a result of a failed assassination attempt?

Even worse is if he doesn’t survive, and he gets rewritten to those around him as a man who died for his cause and a martyr – causing an uprising all on its own.

Basically, Tommy has not thought this through, and the Peakys are about to pay for their rash decision in blood.

But whose could it be? Well, hate to say it, but we have some theories.

Anneka Rice ruled out of first Strictly Come Dancing group dance because of an injury caused by Anton Du Beke

Strictly Come Dancing’s Anneka Rice has revealed the real reason why she wasn’t involved in the first group dance of the series.

Eagle-eyed viewers noticed that the presenter was missing from the celebrities and professionals’ debut performance two Sundays ago, but now the broadcaster has explained that her absence was due to Anton Du Beke throwing her in the air during training.

You know, as you do.

‘We were thrown into learning a complicated group dance,’ Anneka told Radio Times. ‘I kept shouting, “Hang on”, but everyone was onto the next bit. I was baffled.

‘Thankfully, Anton Du Beke spontaneously threw me up in the air and over his shoulders before I had time to say, “By the way, my shoulder is…”’

Anneka added: ‘And just like that, on the medic’s instructions, I was out of the group dance.

‘But I’m still here, in my favourite show, and I have Kevin – Kevin! I just keep forgetting that I now have to learn to dance…’

The presenter also revealed that she refused to take part in an unofficial group dance after being introduced to this year’s intake.

‘Strictly’s social media team then put on T Rex loudly and asked me to dance,’ she said. ‘I politely refused.’

Anneka has been partnered up with last year’s Strictly champion Kevin Clifton, who took home the glitterball with Stacey Dooley.

Last week, reports claimed that Kevin was ‘fuming’ to be paired up with Anneka, 60, but he soon hit back and quashed the ‘ridiculous’ stories.

Since then, the couple have shared behind-the-scenes videos of their training together.

Posting a clip of their first rehearsal to Instagram, Anneka wrote: ‘FIRST DAY AT DANCE SCHOOL! I LOVED IT! Kevin is a dream.’

‘You were brilliant,’ Kevin says in the clip, impressed. ‘You were amazing today.’

Could these two win the series?

Kelvin Fletcher had one hour to decide whether to replace Jamie Laing on Strictly Come Dancing

Strictly Come Dancing’s Kelvin Fletcher was given just one hour to decide whether he wanted to replace Jamie Laing on this year’s series.

The former Emmerdale star was called upon by bosses last minute to step in for the Made In Chelsea personality after an injury forced him to quit and had just 60 minutes to say yes or no.

‘I didn’t anticipate this at all,’ Kelvin told Radio Times of his sudden casting. ‘I suddenly received a call from my agent offering me the chance to do Strictly and I had to make the decision within an hour or two.

‘I was doing a different job towards the end of the year so I had to change my plans, but it was a no-brainer.’

He added to the publication: ‘I’d met the Strictly producers previously so they’d already had a taste of me and what I was about but I was straight in at the deep end.’

Gemma Collins claimed on Lorraine earlier this month that Kelvin had been signed up for Dancing On Ice 2020, but ditched the show in favour of Strictly.

Jamie was forced to pull out of this year’s competition after suffering an injury to his foot during the first group dance of the series.

Ahead of his departure in the launch show, he said: ‘As I did the first dance. As I kicked off, I felt a pop and a searing pain in my foot.

‘So I saw the physio and we have to wait for an MI and see what happens. There’s definitely swelling so there’s definitely tissue damage.’

Another clip showed Jamie sporting crutches and it was then where he announced his exit.

‘Hello everyone, I just wanted to give everyone a quick update on my foot,’ he said. ‘Now because of the injury it means I’m going to be in a boot for eight weeks recovering which means I won’t be a part of the show.’

Strictly Come Dancing has released official photos showcasing each couple, including newcomer Kelvin Fletcher with Oti Mabuse.

The 15 couples are set to hit the ballroom floor for the first live show this Saturday (21 September), after the initial launch paired up the celebrities with their professional dancer.

But is it possible to predict the winner based on professional imagery? Judging by stance pizazz, we’re gunning for Michelle Visage and Giovanni Pernice, Kelvin and Oti, Anton Du Beke and Emma Barton, Dev Griffin and Dianne Buswell, and the incredible suit donned by David James.

Seriously, look at this dazzler.

This year’s series kicked off with drama after Jamie Laing was forced to quit the competition over a foot injury, which was addressed during the launch show.

In a clip describing how he injured his foot during the first group dance, Jamie said: ‘Hell everyone, I just wanted to give everyone a quick update on my foot.

‘Now because of the injury it means I’m going to be in a boot for eight weeks recovering which means I won’t be a part of the show.

‘I want to wish all my fellow competitors the best of luck. You guys are going to rock it without a doubt and I’ll be supporting from the sidelines with or without a boot. Just go out there and dance.’

Jamie was replaced by Emmerdale star Kelvin Fletcher, who is aiming to channel John Travolta when he hits the floor.

We always say ‘break a leg’ for good luck, so when Christie Brinkley broke her arm while rehearsing for Dancing With The Stars we knew it couldn’t be good.

Footage from Good Morning America shows the 65-year-old model in rehearsals with her mystery dance partner when she trips on his foot as they perform a move and then loses her footing.

Christie then falls down onto her hands and looks to be in incredible pain as she grabs her right wrist and screams.

‘I just broke my arm into a 1000 pieces requiring surgery with a metal plate and screws to hold my arm together,’ she told fans.

In the footage of the accident, her partner’s face is blurred because his identity has not yet been revealed.

The Vogue model has now undergone surgery to her wrist and arm and is recovering but will not be able to compete.

DWTS is set to debut on Monday night but thankfully Christie’s 21-year-old supermodel daughter Sailor Brinkley Cook will take her place because the show must go on!

‘I’m doing this mostly for my mom! I just want to make her happy and make her proud,’ Sailor told GMA on Monday.

‘She loved doing this, she loves dancing and she loves performing and getting hurt was her worst nightmare.’

However, Sailor admitted that competing on DWTS is something she is ‘so afraid of’ but is determined to confront her fears.

She said: ‘I think it will change me.’

Sailor now has just hours to learn her mother’s entire dance routine.

Luckily, her mother’s costumes are a perfect fit with no alterations required.

That is one very talented family!

On Monday morning ABC released a statement on the Sports Illustrated star’s departure: ‘While rehearsing for the premiere of Dancing with the Stars, Christie Brinkley suffered injuries which required surgery to her wrist and arm.

‘She is unable to continue her planned participation on the show. Keeping it all in the family, her daughter Sailor Brinkley-Cook, a Sports Illustrated model, has chosen to quickly step in with hours to learn the entire routine and will compete in her mother’s place for the remainder of the season.

‘We wish Christie a full and speedy recovery and look forward to seeing her in the audience, whenever possible, proudly supporting Sailor.’

Christie will now sit audience with her daughter Alexa Ray Joel as they watch Sailor try the Samba.

The star also made a statement on Monday while sharing an image of Sailor in her blue outfit that she wore on Sunday during rehearsal.

She wrote: ‘Sailor Breezes in to Save the Day! I just broke my arm into a 1000 pieces requiring surgery with a metal plate and screws to hold my arm together..I’m so sorry! Only something like that could stop me from continuing to dance with my wonderful coach…I was having a blast!
