If you’re going to attempt something as risky as throwing an axe on live TV, you might want to practise a bit first – otherwise something like this may happen.
The moment in question occurred during a segment on US news show Fox and Friends last week, when co-host Pete Hegseth hurled an axe at a target to promote an upcoming item on Timbersports – a competitive tournament for lumberjacks.
Except we don’t think he’ll be invited to take part any time soon, given that this happened:

The actual moment in question wasn’t shown on TV – who instead heard sounds of a disturbance behind the target followed by a shocked-looking Hegseth.
