The Wii U could’ve launched with a new F-Zero game by Criterion Games, but alas they were too busy with Need For Speed: Most Wanted.
One of the many fan favourite Nintendo franchises that we weren’t surprised to see not mentioned at E3 was F-Zero, despite hopes that a new home console version might be on the cards.
But according to website Nintendo Life, during the early days of the Wii U it was – and EA developer Criterion Studios had been asked to make it.
