This is the terrifying moment which saw an acclaimed escapologist, who shot to fame in America’s Got Talent in 2012, become trapped in a suspended box filled with water.
Panic ensued as Spencer Horsman’s stunt went badly wrong as he rehearsed for magician Criss Angel’s new Supernaturalists show.
Criss himself is seen rushing for the box and clambering onto it in a desperate attempt to save Horsman while members of the crew scream and cry out for helpers to ‘get him down.’
During the heart-stopping scene, Horsman can be seen looking motionless in the water.
As a result, Criss has postponed two shows for July.
