On 16th December 1993, a soppy teenager entered Albert Square. There was little hint at the time he would become a Walford icon and form one of EastEnders’ most memorable partnerships, albeit with a dog. To my great delight, it was announced this morning that he would return later this year.
I am of course referring to Robbie Jackson, the only man capable of staying in the same house as Carol and Bianca (his mum and sister, respectively) for more than a few months.
Traditionally, Robbie didn’t have much luck with women, although he eventually found love with Nita.
