Taylor Swift makes a not-so-subtle jab at Scooter Braun in the new video for The Man.
The video, directed by Taylor herself, dropped this afternoon and sees the 30-year-old transformed into a dude named Tyler Swift who is pretty much the epitome of toxic masculinity.
And one particular scene references Taylor’s war with mogul Scooter over the masters of her albums.
‘Tyler’ pees up against a wall, on which graffiti spells out the names of some of Swift’s biggest albums, including Fearless, 1989, Reputation and Speak.
A sign reads: ‘Missing: If found return to Taylor Swift’, while ‘Karma’ is also sprayed on the wall.
And the final dig? A sign with a line through a scooter – signalling No Scooters.
The video also references the album row in the credits, which inform viewers that the video stars, is directed by and is owned by Taylor Swift.
