Because producers have finally offered up a battle sequence to rival any from the previous four seasons as Jon Snow, the Night’s Watch and the Wildlings face off against the White Walkers.
But it wasn’t just a few undead to tackle but a 24 Hours Later-like zombie army including little dead children who proved to be just as menacing as their bigger comrades.
More than half the free-folk were immediately slaughtered by the White Walkers because they decided not to trust the crows and jump on the boats to live beyond the wall.
