Britain’s Got Talent winner Jules O’Dwyer has defended her use of a ‘stunt dog’ during the final of the show – as it was revealed that Ofcom has received over 200 complaints about the performance.
The 49-year-old sparked outrage among viewers after revealing on ITV’s Lorraine that her talented pooch Matisse was replaced by another border collie, Chase, during a ‘high-wire’ stunt on Sunday evening’s show.
However she pointed out that it would not have been right for Matisse to take to the tightrope given his fear of heights, saying: ‘Why use a dog that’s less confident?’
