He might have long since finished work on the Hobbit trilogy – but it seems director Peter Jackson just can’t let go of the series.
So much so, in fact, that he’s hired a set designer to recreate Bilbo Baggins’ home, Bag End, in the basement of his New Zealand house.
Bino Smith – who worked with the director on the King Kong and Lord Of The Rings trilogy – explained to Stuff.co.nz that the result is like an underground playground – and that it looks exactly the same as it did in the films.
