Enrique Iglesias has been arrested for allegedly driving with a suspended license.
The singer was pulled over during a routine traffic stop in Florida in May, according to a report from NBC.
He was allegedly seen driving an Escalade in a closed express lane and now faces charges of obstruction without violence and driving with a suspended license.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, as Igelsias was pulled over he moved from the driver’s seat into the back, with the passenger getting into the driver’s seat. Lt Julio Pajon later confirmed to NBC: ‘It was Mr Iglesias that was the initial driver, yes.’
The passenger has also been charged with obstruction without violence.
