Ryan Reynolds is set to bring loudmouth mercenary Deadpool to the big screen in his most violent comic book movie yet.
Having already played a tame version of the character in the 2009’s X-Men Origins: Wolverine and a calamitous turn as the Green Lantern two years later, Reynolds has been keen to get it right this time.
New images released by 20th Century Fox in Entertainment Weekly, showcase more of the sarcastic anti-hero with a tendency for extreme violence.
Of the recent crop of superhero films by the major studios, Deadpool will be the first to be R-rated.
