The final episode of Black Work has aired and fans have been raving about Sheridan Smith’s performance.
The actress, who plays a PC who discovers that her husband had been on an undercover operation when he died, was praised as ‘outstanding’ and ‘brilliant’ after the third part was broadcast tonight.
Her character Jo Gillespie is forced to hunt down her husband’s killer after another person is brutally murdered.
Fans enjoyed the series so much that they have called for a second one.
