Steve Brookstein has become yet another example of a celebrity who should really, really think before they tweet.
As the nation comes together to commemorate the losses of life on the anniversary of the 7/7 attacks, Steve decided to tweet about his brief musical success that same year.
’10 years ago I was heading home from New York and Barcelona after celebrating a No1 album. Totally oblivious to 7/7 attacks,’ the former X Factor winner tweeted.

It seems Steve was ‘totally oblivious’ to just how inappropriate his statement was, but a few people tried to enlighten him.
