She might be in line for a pivotal role in the next Spider-man movie – but not everybody is happy with the idea of Marisa Tomei as Aunt May.
The 50-year-old actress and former Oscar winner is in talks to take on the role played by Sally Field and Rosemary Harris in previous Spider-man films.
But the news hasn’t gone down too well with fans, many of whom have complained on Twitter that the 50-year-old is just too young – not to mention too attractive – to play the elderly character.
Seriously, they are not convinced:
