The Doctor Who panel at San Diego Comic Con only went and turned into pantomime this year.
Star Peter Capaldi called on his years working in the theatre as he egged on the thunderous applause that deafened the crowds as he walked on stage with co-star Jenna Coleman and Steven Moffatt.
‘I’ve never been in front of 7,000 people before in my life. I can’t hear them all, though, properly…’ he joked, and as is wont to happen when a crowd is taunted, they responded accordingly with even louder applause.
Later, Peter continued the theme when he suggested an upcoming episode of the hit BBC show should be filmed in drag.
