The video games industry is in shock as the head of Nintendo passes away from a bile duct growth – as tributes flood in from across the world.
Last year Iwata had an operation to remove a cyst in his bile duct, from which he initially seemed to have made a full recovery. He also missed last month’s E3 event, but at the time that was assumed to be a business decision rather than because of illness.
