The two star in The Dressmaker, an adaptation of the bestselling novel, and despite the age gap between the unlikely pairing – Kate is 14 years older than Aussie actor Liam – their chemistry is pretty undeniable in this first trailer.
There’s even a steamy snog between the two – oo-er!
A bittersweet tale set in 1950s outback Australia, The Dressmaker sees Kate as Tilly Dunnage, who left her small town years ago after an accident resulted in the death of a friend and led the town to blame Tilly.
