The Ghostbusters reboot just got a little more exciting with the news that Dan Aykroyd is set to make a guest appearance in the film.
The actor – who played Ray Stantz in the 1984 original and 1989 sequel – broke the news via his Twitter account, revealing to his followers that he had been on the set of the film – and had nothing but praise for the female ghostbusters.
His tweet – which has since been deleted – read: ‘On GB set shooting my scene with funny beautiful Kristen Wiig. Lady GBs are adorable, hilarious and badass. Exhilarating!’
