Disney are reportedly working on a live-action sequel to Aladdin.
Disney are working on a live-action project called Genie, based on the character from the 1992 animated classic.
It will tell the story of genies and how the one Aladdin meets came to become trapped in the lamp, say The Hollywood Reporter.
The site says that the project is ‘in the early stages’, but the studio want it to lead into a live-action Aladdin movie.
Damian Shannon and Mark Swift, the brains behind the Friday the 13th remake, are believed to be writing the script.
