Jonathan Majors’ alleged victim has been granted a temporary order of protection ahead of the May 9 court date.

The 33-year-old actor has been arrested and charged with several counts of assault and harassment following an incident with a woman.

Majors, who vehemently denies the allegations, is accused of assaulting the unnamed woman during an altercation in a car in Manhattan, New York City last month.

His legal representatives have argued that the Creed III actor was ‘provably the victim’.

In a statement on Thursday, the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office said: ‘Today a judge granted a Full Temporary Order of Protection for the victim, per the People’s request and with the consent of defense counsel.

The full temporary order of protection means the two parties must not have any direct or third party contact with each other.

According to the New York Police Department, it ‘means that the subject of the order of protection must stay completely away from you, your home, job and school, and must not abuse, harass or threaten you’.

The order remains in effect until the next court date.

Majors’ lawyer Priya Chaudhry said in a statement: ‘This is standard in cases such as this, and we consented because Mr. Majors wants nothing to do with the woman who assaulted him.’

She continued: ‘We have been transparent and cooperative with the District Attorney, including giving the District Attorney ample evidence, including witness statements, of Mr. Majors’ innocence.

‘In fact, we recently provided a forensic medical opinion from a Board Certified Emergency Medicine Doctor and Trauma Specialist who has examined the photos and videos of the woman and concludes, without hesitation, that the woman did not have any injuries at the nightclub and the injuries she later sustained did not come from Mr. Majors (and could not have come from the way the woman described).

‘It is disturbing that even when presented with this incontrovertible evidence, the District Attorney continues this false case.’

On Wednesday, Chaudhry filed court documents claiming the man who was driving the star and his ex on the night of the alleged altercation witnessed the events, while security videos are said to show the woman in a nightclub afterwards.

Majors was arrested in a Chelsea apartment near West 22nd Street and Eighth Avenue on March 25 after officers responded to an emergency call.

According to documents obtained by TMZ, the driver witnessed the woman ‘attempt to steal’ Majors’ phone and he allegedly saw the woman ‘hitting, scratching, and attacking’ him.

The lawyer expects the driver to testify that Majors didn’t hit the alleged victim ‘in any way at any time, or even raise his voice’, and that he asked the driver to pull the car over to depart the vehicle, which he did.

Majors’ ex claimed she was left with a broken finger and laceration behind her ear as a result of the incident, but his lawyer insists she has proof the woman went to a club after the alleged incident, with security footage apparently showing her freely using her right hand, contradicting her claims.

The woman allegedly arrived at Majors’ house at 3.23am after the night out, went into his apartment and rang him 32 times, as well as sending text messages.

According to his lawyer, the woman did not accuse Major of injuring her in any of the messages, nor mention any alleged injuries she may have suffered.

He was not home at the time but returned later that morning at 11.13am to find her on the floor of his walk-in closet, when he rang 911.

When paramedics arrived at the scene, his ex allegedly said ‘I don’t know’ when asked what had happened.
