Viewers were able to view the emotional moment a Sky News correspondent unexpectedly reunited with her uncle in a group of people fleeing Sudan.
As of April 25, more than 500 people have been killed and more than 4,000 have been injured in fighting between militia groups and government forces.
The most affected area so far has been the nation’s capital city Khartoum, with fighting and violence there having stretched on since April 15.
Sky Africa correspondent Yousra Elbagir was interviewing refugees who had evacuated the northwest African nation when the moment occurred.
Yousra was stationed in the city of Jeddah in Saudi Arabia to greet those who had made the journey across the Red Sea after civil war broke out in Sudan.
Yousra, 31, was waiting to tell the stories of refugees fleeing Sudan when she spotted her uncle through a crowd and raced to meet him.

In the incredible footage, the former Channel 4 reporter can be heard suggesting to her camera team that they record ‘one more interview’ before finishing.
At that moment, Yousra says, ‘Oh my god, that’s my uncle! That’s my uncle!’ and the cameras keep rolling in order to capture the bittersweet reunion.
Yousra’s uncle, Mohsin, a surgeon, embraces her and the pair share a tender moment together after Yousra rushes through the crowd to find him.

Mohsin asks during the emotional exchange if Yousra is okay, to which the experienced reporter and documentarian says she is.
When asked how he’s feeling, Mohsin says they fled Sudan the day before and that he’s tired and therefore unable to give a full interview to the camera.
Before saying goodbye, Yousra, who was born in Khartoum in 1992, signs off with: ‘One day we will all be in Sudan together, God willing.’
The Rapid Support Forces and the Sudanese Armed Forces have declared a temporary ceasefire to allow more evacuees to flee the country.
There are fears in the UK that British citizens may be left behind in Sudan once the ceasefire ends, with 536 Brits already having been escorted out of the country.
