EastEnders lovebirds Jay and Lola will finally make a go of things in the wake of Ben Mitchell’s shock arrest for the murder of Lucy Beale.
Ben was arrested in Friday’s episode as police claimed to have new evidence pointing them to a new suspect in the shape of Ben as the Lucy Beale murder case reopened.
Of course we all know it was Bobby who killed her with the jewellery box in the living room. And then Jane, followed by the entire Beale clan, covered it up.
But nobody else knows that, do they? So the murder case is still very much an active one.
