Britain at the Bookies, a new BBC three-part documentary, has kicked off and is already upsetting viewers.
The show follows employees at bookmaking firm Coral with tonight’s episode focusing on Huddersfield, which has eleven betting shops crammed into the town centre.
Fans singled out self-confessed compulsive gambler Stuart as he tried his luck in all the betting shops.
But just as many were slating him for using his benefit cash to gamble, it was revealed at the end that he got a job as a chef even though minutes later he was shown burning his toast.
Oops.
