David Beckham gave a family the shock of their lives when he turned up on their doorstep to give them a cheque for $100,000.
The former football star was taking part in Ryan Seacrest’s new TV show, Knock Knock Live, which sees deserving families given cash and prizes as well as visits from their favourite celebrities.
Becks dropped in on the Gonzalez family after he heard that the father used to be a professional footballer in Mexico until he was forced to give up his job to work as a construction worker so that he could support his family.
