Darren decided to treat girlfriend Jacquie to a special film premiere-themed wedding on Don’t Tell The Bride but his decision to hold it at his local Odeon earned mixed reviews from TV viewers.
The pair, who have been together for 18 years, got hitched at their local multiplex as Darren wanted to give his future wife the red carpet treatment.
He was given a budget of £14,000 towards their big day and allowed three weeks to plan the big day.
Jacquie, 51, ended up walking down the cinema aisle in a charity shop dress while the best man burst into tears.
