Orange Is The New Black star Ruby Rose has been weathering a social media backlash after she posed for a photo with boxer Floyd Mayweather.
The Australian actress is seen giving a thumbs up as she stands next to the 38-year-old boxer in the Instagram snap, which was taken at a Las Vegas gym – while she refers to him as ‘the champ’.
But it hasn’t proven too popular with her followers due to the boxer’s past, which saw him plead guilty to domestic battery in 2011.
One fan wrote: ‘Very disappointing to see this… I lost a great amount of respect for you with this picture.’
Another added: ‘I was hoping she would remove this also. Unfollowing (sic)’
