Katie Hopkins has spoken out to defend her controversial nature but admits that, in hindsight, she would have changed the content of some of her comments which slammed migrants earlier this year.
In the wake of a tragic event which saw a migrant boat collapse, Hopkins had written: ‘Show me pictures of coffins, show me bodies floating in water, play violins and show me skinny people looking sad. I still don’t care.’
Speaking to Press Association, Hopkins appears to have some misgivings now over what she said, although makes a point of noting that she never says sorry for the things she says.
