A regular on This Morning has revealed he is getting married later this year following a romantic getaway.
Veteran broadcaster Nick Ferrari popped the question to his long-term partner Clare Patterson.
He proposed while they were dining at a restaurant in the south of France over Christmas.
Chatting to presenters Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary on ITV’s This Morning alongside fellow guest Ashley James, the group were discussing weddings.
After Alison joked that you usually need ’10 bridesmaids’, Ashley said, looking at Nick: ‘Hopefully you only do it once if you’re lucky you do it two or three times.’
This prompted the former news report to laugh before he replied: ‘A couple… but you don’t know how many friends you’ve got until you announce you are getting married in the South of France as I am later this year. Suddenly everyone is your friend!’

Ashley then joked that she ‘still hasn’t made the cut yet’.
Previously, Nick was married to Sandra Phylis Conolly, who he shares two sons with, Sebastian and Nicolo.
After spending 10 years together with his current partner Clare, he will now be getting re-married at the age of 65.
He also revealed how she played a part in designing her engagement ring.
Nick told hosts Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley on the show in January that they ‘went along to a DIY store and kept getting down on one knee.’
This comes after ITV were forced to replace Ranvir Singh at the last minute on Lorraine today before This Morning was on air.

The ITV show has had a rotating host for the past couple of weeks after Lorraine Kelly, 65, announced she was undergoing surgery to remove her ovaries.
Although Ranvir, 47, was scheduled to host the show on Friday morning, Andi Peters revealed he was forced to step in at the last moment as she was unwell.
In the past, Nick was a news reporter on the Sunday Mirror before becoming the editor of The Sun’s Bizarre.
He has also worked at the Daily Mirror as assistant editor.
This Morning airs on ITV.
