Emmerdale could be forced to relocate its filming if it wants to turn its set into a tourist attraction.
Plans to turn the ITV’s home into a weekend tourist attraction have been made, with its official website advertising the tour, but after objections from locals, Leeds City Council will decide on Thursday if they get the go ahead or not.
Locals in Harewood, west Yorkshire, where the soap is filmed, are said to be up in arms over the plans, not wanting coach loads of soap fans increasing traffic and stomping all over their Green Belt land.
