The Simpsons have a good track record in their predictions coming true years later.
So, when they featured an episode way back in 2000 where they joked about what a terrible state Donald Trump left the US economy as the President, well, everyone should take note.
In an episode called Bart to the Future during season 11, future President Lisa Simpson and Milhouse, who has now grown up to be Secretary Van Houten, discuss the debt crisis former President Trump has left.
