EastEnders caused an uproar when Carol Jackson said a pre-watershed swear.
When addressing her brother Max as they discussed Lucy Beale’s murder, she branded him a ‘complete and utter bastard’.

Yep she did, she really did and Twitter did not take kindly to that one. In fact, the word ‘Ofcom’ was banded about as a threat from many a disgruntled viewer.
Writer Daran Little took to Twitter to appease the offended watchers by explaining his use of the B word.
The Mirror reports that he tweeted: ‘Sorry if Carol’s choice of words offended anyone in tonight’s Enders. First time in a soap I’ve been allowed to write that word.’
The tweet has since been deleted meaning he’s probably not sorry at all.
