Chet Hanks, officially the least-awesome famous Hanks, caused controversy recently for using the N-word on Instagram
Promoting his song Juice he referred to a collaborator on the track as ‘my n****r’.
The song itself also contains the racial slur.
After Twitter and Instagram users slammed him Hanks (under his rap name Chet Haze) tried explain his actions.
In the clip, which Chet claims has since been deleted by Instagram along with his old account, he says: ‘I know the majority of you all are not going to get this, because the history is still so fresh in our country.
