It’s been a long time coming – but it looks as if the sequel to Ridley Scott’s sci-fi hit Prometheus is finally set to begin filming in 2016.
Or at least it is according to the latest issue of Total Film magazine, in an interview with the director about his next film The Martian.
The feature discusses Scott’s return to sci-fi with that film – which is due to open in October – adding: ‘After shaping the genre with Alien in 1979 and with Blade Runner in 1982, he only recently returned with 2012’s Prometheus.’
It then went on to say: ‘He begins shooting Prometheus 2 in January.’
