Disney has announced a new Star Wars smartphone game that bridges the gap between Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens and… it looks quite good.
Although EA has the licence to make console and PC games based on Star Wars, Disney has kept the rights to make mobile and browser-based games to themselves. Which has so far resulted in the usual half-hearted money grabs and reskinned tosh such as Tiny Death Star.
But Star Wars: Uprising looks like it’s had quite a bit of effort put into it, and it may even provide some clues as to the back story of the new movie.
