Mike Myers’ fake Scottish accent is one of the characteristics that we all love about his portrayal of Shrek.
But things could have turned out very differently for the DreamWorks animation if original lead Chris Farley had ended up voicing the role.
An audio recording of the late actor as the lovable ogre has resurfaced on Reddit giving us a glimpse of what could have been.
Farley recorded between 80 to 90 per cent of the dialogue before he tragically died of a drug overdose in 1997.
