Here’s some bad news for the growing number of cinema-goers fed up of superhero movies. The failure of Fantastic Four with critics doesn’t mean the end of the genre…In fact, get ready for even more comic book films.

The release of Josh Trank’s take on Fantastic Four has been a catalogue of disasters.

His casting choices antagonised fans and he claimed he wasn’t even making a proper superhero film. He was making a ‘hard sci-fi’ film. Well, that’s certainly going to win over the notoriously level-headed readers of the Marvel comics.
