Microsoft’s retro compilation has proven to be a rarer hit than you might have imagined, as the Xbox One gets its first ever exclusive number one.
They’ve had plenty of hits since then, but by some quirk of the sales charts Rare Replay is the first time Rare has had a number one game since the original Banjo-Kazooie back in 1998.
Almost as incredibly, Rare Replay is also the first ever number one for an Xbox One exclusive in the UK. (Titanfall doesn’t really count as it was also released on PC at launch, and later on Xbox 360.)
