Heath Ledger famously threw himself into the role of The Joker in Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight.
It was a part which won him a posthumous best supporting actor Oscar in 2009 after his tragic death.
A trailer for a documentary about the actor’s life, Heath Ledger: Too Young To Die, shows the lengths he went to to get into the mindset of Batman’s arch rival.
It was originally uploaded last year but seems to have caught everyone’s imagination all over again after being posted this weekend on Reddit.
The clip shows his father Kim Ledger taking a look at a diary his son kept while preparing for the role.
