William Shatner roped in Star Trek fans to help him build an incredible tribute to former co-star Leonard Nimoy – made up entirely of selfies.
The actor asked his followers on Twitter at the beginning of August to send him selfies of themselves doing the famous Vulcan salute – the greeting associated with Nimoy’s character Spock.
He didn’t say what it was for and now with a little help from social media scavenger hunt website GISHWHES, they’ve been used to create an incredible mosaic of Spock making his ‘live long and prosper’ sign.
Shatner says over 6,000 selfies were used to form the mosaic and he’s sent it to the Guinness Book of World Records for consideration.
