Mark Ronson’s Uptown Funk feat. Bruno Mars is one of the biggest pop songs from the last year, but it sounds like it might have been copied from a Serbian track from the Eighties.
Serbian singer Viktorija – real name is Snezana Miskovic – noticed that her 1984 track single Ulice Mracne Nisu Za Devojke, shares a lot of similarities with Ronson’s No. 1 hit.
After listening to her track, which translates as Dark Streets Are Not For Girls, it’s no surprise Viktorija has accused the celebrated music producer of plagiarism.
