A team of very ambitious architects want to build a real-life version of fictional city Minas Tirith from the Lord of the Rings trilogy.
They’ve set up an Indiegogo campaign – and just need a cool £1.85 billion.
So far they’ve got just over £4,200 and only 48 days left to raise the rest.
Jonathan Wilson, who set up the campaign, explained on the fundraising page: ‘We are an ambitious team of architects and structural engineers who are passionate about creating a beautiful, inspirational and fully-functioning replica of Peter Jackson’s depiction of Minas Tirith, as seen in his Lord of the Rings films.
