As petitions go, it’s pretty emotional.
Started by a chap called Christopher Bell of Norwich, it’s simply called ‘Bring Back Michael Parr aka Ross Barton to Emmerdale’ and after launching six days ago, has already attracted 4,000 signatures with a target of 5,000.
A plea on the Change.org petition page reads: ‘I will do my upmost to ensure this Petition reaches the producers of Emmerdale, Is Ross Barton really dead, will he make a shock return?
