Trainwreck is a very funny movie.
I laughed so many times from start to finish and came once again to the conclusion that anyone who says women can’t write jokes is actually the biggest joke of all.
But take away the comical layer of Amy Schumer’s script and you’ll discover a few of the classic misogynistic tropes of cinema.
I’m not talking about the tiny dresses Amy’s character wears because in this day and age her outfits are pretty reserved and you know slut-shaming is not cool.
