The Los Angeles home of KISS frontman Gene Simmons has been searched by a police taskforce investigating internet crimes against children.
However authorities carrying out the search stressed that neither Gene nor any members of his family were suspects in the investigation.
Lieutenant John Jenal of the Los Angeles Police Department told reporters that the warrant was served on Thursday at the family home in Benedict Canyon, near Beverly Hills.
‘No members of the Simmons family are suspects in the case and were extremely co-operative,’ he said.
Police gave no further comment on the investigation.
