Oxford University’s student union really wants Taylor Swift to visit – so much so that they’ve created a mash-up video of their previous guest speakers singing along to her hit single Shake It Off.
It’s pretty fun – but there’s just one pesky issue.
They got some of the lyrics wrong.
The video features a whole host of Oxford Union’s guests including human rights activist Masala Yousafazi and actor Sir Ian McKellen but begins with Stephen Fry singing the opening line ‘I stay out too late.’
But the video actually has Stephen singing ‘I stay out to late at night.’
It then it gets worse because the lyrics are wrong again as Sepp Blatter, outgoing FIFA chief president sings ‘but I wanted to stay’.
Never mind – it’s all in good fun and the video is entertaining nonetheless.
