Konami may have taken Hideo Kojima’s name off the box but an Aussie retailer has put it back in its shop displays for The Phantom Pain.
For the last year or so Konami seem to have been stuck in a death spiral of bad publicity, much of it tied to their disintegrating relationship with Metal Gear creator Hideo Kojima.
Technically it still hasn’t been confirmed that Kojima is leaving Konami after the release of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, but even if he does somehow end up staying his name has been removed from the game’s cover.
