Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer’s sitcom House Of Fools has been axed by the BBC after just two series – much to the anger of its fans.
A BBC Two spokeswoman confirmed to the Radio Times on Tuesday that the show – which debuted in January 2014 – would not be returning to screens.
‘BBC2 and BBC Comedy would like to thank Vic, Bob, producerLisa Clark and everyone else involved in making House of Fools,’ the spokeswoman said, ‘but after two fantastically inventive series the show won’t be returning.’
