As far back as I can remember I’ve always been a gamer, long before I had the dexterity and hand-to-eye coordination to effectively relay my wishes to the screen. Luckily all those years ago joypads, or paddles as they were known then, were much simpler affairs. My first had a single button and circular dial that twisted left and right.
