Ailing Motorhead legend Lemmy Kilmister was forced to cut short a performance in Texas yesterday.
The rock singer, who has had a number of health problems recently including haematoma in 2013, was midway through the third song of the set when he stopped playing and said through the mic: ‘I can’t do it.’
He was then helped off the stage by a stage hand, leaving the crowd for a while before returning to apologise to his fans.
He said: ‘You are one of the best gigs in America, and I would love to play for you, but I can’t… So please accept my apologies. Next time, all right?’
The star recently admitted that he has to walk with a stick a lot of the time because his ‘legs are f***ed’.
