He popped on This Morning to discuss his new series of Life Stories and ended up revealing he could be back on morning telly before we know it.
He previously had a stint on the breakfast TV show for a week, and it seems Piers has got the bug.
Speaking to Phil Schofield and Holly Willoughby he said: ‘I loved Good Morning Britain. We’ve been talking about me having a more permanent slot.’
But although talks are happening, nothing is guaranteed after the controversial presenter put his return in jeopardy by starring in an advert for the National Lottery.
